Small Wind Applications Guide Video

Learn all the steps you must consider to put up a wind turbine, including your time and associated costs. The video takes you on a tour of a Colorado hog farm which has installed a 65kW wind turbine to offset some of its electrical-use costs and fully demonstrates how anyone can analyze and determine whether wind power can be beneficially and economically used on your property. This video and the narrative accompaniment were created by the Colorado Governor's Energy Office and funding for the video was provided by the U.S. Department of Energy's Wind Powering America Program.
