Downloadable Assessment Recommendation Files

 


You'll find examples of the individual Assessment Recommendations listed below. Each recommendation has a word processing file that describes the idea, lists equations, and allows the user to "fill-in-the-blanks" to determine the energy savings associated with the recommendation. We currently use Word 2000 for our word processing. Prior to May 1998, we used Word Perfect for Windows 5.2 for word processing. For completeness, we have included both Word and Word Perfect versions for downloading. Of the two, the Word versions are more current.

For recommendations that need a little more computing power, we've developed spreadsheets to ease some of the calculation load. Again, the spreadsheets are easy to use with "fill-in-the-blanks." We currently use Excel 2000 for our spreadsheets. Again, prior to May 1998, we used Quattro Pro for Windows 5.0 with multiple notebook pages. For completeness, we have included both Excel and Quattro Pro versions for downloading. Of the two, the Excel versions are more current.

On-site Data Collection

We've also developed sitesheets for most of the recommendations. A sitesheet is a form that the user fills out when onsite conducting the assessment. The form is used as a guide to assure that all of the pertinent data is collect for each idea. Here at CSU, we take along a notebook filled with multiple copies of each sitesheet along with us on each assessment. These files are in Word Perfect for Windows 5.2 format.

Besides the individual ARs, you can also download a CSU IAC Sample Assessment Report in pdf format. This is how one of our reports looks and includes not only the ARs, but also includes sections that describe the program, the assessment, the plant, the manufacturing process, the energy use, and the waste generation.


Downloadable File Groups

If you just wish to download all files at once, we've included large zipped files that contain all of the Word and associated Excel files, or WordPerfect and associated Quattro Pro files, and Word Perfect sitesheet files, respectively. To download these files simply click on the files you wish from those listed below:

Note: The files may be saved to your desktop as the default location (unless you have designated another area) for Internet Explorer 6.0 or for Mozilla Firefox 1.0 (2004). You will need to doubleclick the icon to on your desktop to begin a Windows unzip procedure and allow you to place the files in a directory as you desire on your own computer.
